Slide the rail post over your 4” x 4” deck post.

Secure the rail post with screws. We have provided countersunk pilot holes. Then slide the base cap down to the deck surface.

The railing/baluster unit comes with alignment pins on the bottom rail and a bolt/washer assembly in the top rail. Slide the alignment pin into the alignment hole in the base cap and slide the bolt/washer assembly into the slot at the top of the post. This action should be simultaneous.

is shown in the ready-to- tighten position.

Use a 1/2" socket (or other wrench) to tighten the bolt/washer assembly.

Align the notch in the post cap with the baluster rail and fit into place.
